Customs Declaration Required for Lombock
Lombok e-CD ApplicationPlanning a trip to Lombok, Indonesia, requires understanding the specific Lombok travel requirements. Being prepared will make traveling easier.
This page details the necessary documents and processes involved in traveling to Lombok. Read on to learn about passport and visa requirements, as well as the mandatory Lombok customs declaration and health pass.
Passport Requirements for Traveling to Lombok
All travelers entering Lombok must have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry. Make sure your passport has at least 2 blank pages for stamps upon arrival and departure.
It's important to confirm the validity of your passport before planning your travel. The passport should also be in good condition, as damaged passports may lead to denial of entry at the border.
Lombok Visa Options
To travel to Lombok, it’s necessary to meet Indonesia’s visa requirements. Nationals of around 13 countries can gain visa-free entry to Lombok, but all other nationalities require a visa.
Most foreign nationals are eligible to apply for either an electronic visa on arrival (e-VoA) in advance or a visa on arrival (VoA) for Lombak. These visa types cost Rp500,000 (US $31).
Both the e-VoA and the VoA allow a stay of up to 30 days. They are both extendable for another 30 days by visiting a local immigration office and paying an additional Rp500,000 fee.
If you plan to stay longer than 60 days or are not eligible for a e-VoA or VoA, you’ll need to apply for an embassy visa. This can be done through your nearest Indonesian diplomatic mission.

SATUSEHAT Health Pass
All visitors must complete the SATUSEHAT health declaration (SSHP) to enter Indonesia, including Lombok. This pass helps monitor health risks and protects public safety.
To obtain the SSHP, complete an online application and upload any necessary health documents, such as vaccination certificates. Then, await confirmation from Indonesian health authorities.
Upon approval, you’ll receive the SSHP with a unique QR code via email. Save or print a paper copy of the QR code to bring with you.
You’ll need to present your SSHP QR code at immigration upon arriving in Lombok. You must also show it at any boarding locations for domestic travel if you are continuing to other regions of Indonesia.
Proof of onward or return travel
Upon arrival in Lombok, you must show a ticket for onward or return travel as proof of your planned departure from Indonesia. This requirement helps authorities verify that visitors do not overstay their visa permissions.
Yellow Fever vaccination certificate
If you’re arriving from certain countries in Africa or Central and South America, you’ll need to present a certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever. Make sure your certificate is valid before your trip.
